About The Book
About The Author
This review has been a long time coming, I have been dying to read this book for a while but we all know how things go, new books come out, tours happen, I take a nap, half term starts bla bla! Anyway enough excuses, I have finished it, hurrah and guess what, its bloody brilliant!
Meet Becky Jordan, she has given up on men, she is refusing to fall in love she has had enough of it all, that is until she forgets her contact lenses and swims head first into the wall. This is where she meets Mr Chocolate. He saves her, calms her and leaves her day dreaming of white knights and romance. But Becky is off men, she is throwing herself into work, her career new new job as a travel lecturer, plus she will never see Chocolate again. *author throws spanner into works* Well Mr chocolate is infact her new boss, and his name is Matt and he is blonde, tanned and delicious! So so ensues madness, disasters, pent up emotion and lust till it boils over and not only is Becky left brokenhearted she finds herself completely alone.
This book had me giggling and swoon left, right and centre, I loved Becky, but in a big sister way, she needed a good shake up, she needed a slap but even though she was falling into the same traps over an over she was still an endearing and charming character. Matt our love interest, was my lovely, the sweet big hearted man hiding behind that pesky playboy persona!
The plot has a very satisfying arc, and I loved how much Becky developed, she really did make life changes and realise she needed to stop running away,
Becky Jordan goes through a lot, sex in hotels, panic attacks, a bus crash, moving cities, but my favourite moment in this entire book was a scene involving high rise window cleaning, I'll let you find that out for yourself though my lovelies. I loved this book and I think you will too!
Thanks For Reading Lovelies, Make Sure You Check Out, Heat Of The Moment Thing!
