About The Author ...
Q. How did you start writing, is it always something you have wanted to do?
A. Yes! I either wanted to be a novelist or a lawyer but both seemed a little far out of reach. I kept writing short stories and eventually attempted a novel a few years ago. Even though the book was a bit rubbish, I didn’t give up and kept going and learning and finally got my first book contract.
Q. What was your inspiration for Trouble In Tinseltown?
A. My publisher asked me to do a fun summer flings series of short stories in different cities around the world. I decided to make it a girls tour after slogging away at university and viola, the girls and their adventures just flooded into my mind.
Q. What is your favourite book you have written so far?
A. Definitely the Summer Flings series. It was fabulous to write and because I really enjoyed writing the books, they took me no time at all
Q. What is your favourite book that you have ever read?
A. There’s so many I’m not sure I can pick just one! I’m a bit of a closet Twilight fan. I actually took days off work to finish all the books and have read them over and over. The films didn't do the books justice for me though.
Q. What is your current project?
A. In between university and work I’m squeezing in another series following Ciara, Gem and Elle from Summer Flings.
Q. Can you share a little bit of current work?
A. Sadly it’s just at the planning stage so all I have is a vague outline at the moment. But I can say that there may be a bonkers hen weekend in a glamorous city, or maybe two or even three…
Q. What author inspires you?
A. Mostly the author of the most recent amazing book I’ve read. This time it’s Victoria Fox because Power Games blew me away.
Q. If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?
A. Yes and no. I was writing short stories for the Summer Flings series and I could have happily turned them all into novellas but I’m glad I had a word cap for them or I’d have never stopped writing each book :o)
Q. Who designed the covers for Misbehaving In Miami & Trouble In Tinseltown?
A. Alexandra Allden, Harper Collins’ fabulously talented cover artist!
Q. Finally do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
A. I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who read and reviewed the series. You all made it a huge success and I’m so grateful for the kind words and time everyone took to download and read the books.
Thank you so much for having me, Tay.
