Fiercely independent and newly single mom Emmaline Hart has spent the last thirteen years putting everyone’s needs before her own. Secretly afraid that her ex-husband’s assertions that she’s too uptight are right, Emma nonetheless keeps her life, and her emotions, firmly under control, fearful of getting hurt again. However, when she meets the dangerously attractive Beckett Black on a job assignment, the way his casual touch sends her pulse racing forces her to acknowledge her growing need to move beyond her fear. When Beckett offers her a job writing the memoir of his father, a renowned cancer researcher, Emma jumps at the career opportunity and the chance to get to know Beckett better.
Emma spends her days with the renowned doctor, who has spent his career studying a plant in the Amazon that has the potential to cure cancer, and her nights with Beckett, who slowly pushes past her fears and breaks down her barriers, introducing her to a passionate and forbidden love that surpasses her wildest fantasies. As the doctor’s story of secrets and cover-ups unravels, so does Emmaline’s view on everything she thought she knew about herself and the power of surrender.

Brynley loves rainy days, books (and more books!), worn-in jeans, hot coffee, traveling to new places, and the way words can weave into poetry, and happily ever afters. She lives in Texas with her family and an assortment of pets. When she's not writing, she loves to read, spend time with her family, and travel.
Fearless is an erotic romance novel with a both classic and fresh factors. The leading characters are brilliant Emma single mum and writer meets Beckett Black successful doctor and sexy dominant with a fondness for the hardworking spitfire that is Emma. When Emma accepts the job of writing Beckett's father's memoir and the sexual chemistry explodes between the pair Emma must find a way to accept the new emotions, cravings and sexual appetite that comes with Beckett Black, and when the truth of Beckett and his brother comes to light the whole picture comes just that little bit clearer.
I really enjoyed the book, it wasn't overly sexual, when I say this don't get me wrong there's some cracking sex scenes and you never have to wait too long for those blushing moments, but it isn't on every page there's a story and emotion in this book, which I always find important, its not sexy when its nothing but sex part of writing a good book is leaving just the right amount of room for the readers imagination to fill in the gaps. Brynley does this well, I felt myself imagining and conjuring up images of the characters, the black family home, even Emma's costume for the ball, that is what you need ion a book so that it stays with you and doesn't blend in with everything else you read.
What I also was good about Fearless was the development of Emma, she really did become fearless, learning to trust and feel safe with Beckett Opened her eyes to the world and the adventures and pleasures she could experience. This really is an enjoyable erotic romance novel and all the components from back story, plot twists and thought out characters make it worth reading.
