Now It's Time For Julie's Guest Post..
When Tay kindly asked me to write this Guest Post, I was delighted!
The topic is such an interesting and personal one.
In my new romcom “Hero or Zero,” I wanted to create a character who was, quite simply, a bit of an unlikely hero.
Sean Jeffries is that man!
Yes, he’s tall and good-looking with a smile like an exploding firework but there is much more to him than that.
Sean has hidden depths. He always strives to do the right thing but after a failed relationship, he’s been left a little bruised. He therefore throws himself whole-heartedly into his career as a showbiz agent. He has also experienced a pretty austere childhood, thanks to his very strict Father, so what with that and having to manage demanding client Ethan Blake, Sean doesn’t tend to have the sunniest of dispositions- well at least not at first…..!
I hoped to create a love interest in Sean, which makes readers hearts jolt. This is a man, who despite being constantly surrounded by glitz and glamour, doesn’t lose his sense of worth or perspective – although he does sometimes question it.
He’s also seething with passion and pent-up emotion – as you’ll find out!
I hope readers fall in love with Sean every bit as much as I did….
Huge thank you to Julie Shackman for taking the time to write this for us. I have now got Hero or Zero and I am so excited to read it and meet Sean, I really enjoyed Julie's first book Rock My World and I have no doubt her new novel will be fantastic!
Thanks For Reading Lovelies
