About The Book
The next wonderfully romantic read from MJ Summers, bestselling author of Break In Two
Seductive. Passionate. Addictive
Luc Chevalier, powerful billionaire and well-known heart breaker, has everything he desires: power, luxury, beautiful women . . . and no strings attached. Now, an accidental meeting is about to make him question everything.
Megan is a single mum leading a very ordinary life, when she comes crashing into Luc's seemingly oh-so-perfect world for just one night in the city of love: Paris. Yet that night changes Megan. The part of her she'd hidden away for so long is brought back to life, and she knows she's out of her depth: Luc is beautiful, ruthless and - somewhere deep down inside - irreparably damaged.
Breaking Love is the story of two people who've yet to find true happiness - can they put aside their fears and fight for what they truly want? One thing is for sure: life won't, life can't, ever be the same again . . .
Will two people who don't believe in happily-ever-after manage to put aside their doubts and find their forever?
About The Author
MJ Summers currently resides in Canada, not far from the Rocky Mountains, with her husband, three young children and their goofy dog. When she’s not writing romance novels, she loves reading (obviously), snuggling up on the couch with her family for movie night (which would not be complete without lots of popcorn and milkshakes), hiking, Zumba and yoga (to make up for the milkshakes), swimming and camping (with lots of gooey s’mores and hard ciders). She also loves shutting down restaurants once a month with her girlfriends. Well, not literally shutting them down, like calling the health inspector or something. More like just staying until they shut the lights off.
MJ is a member of the Romance Writers of America, as well as the International Women’s Writing Guild.
I am in awe of this book. Breaking Love is everything and more, romance, love, sex & heart warming moments, what more could you want. All the right ingredients for a perfect book. I found it a pleasure to read, written with finesse you simply fly through the book, page after page you just can't stop, from the first page I was addicted.
The leading characters are Luc Chevalier the powerful billionaire with everything a man could want, money, success and a woman whenever he wants. He is not the man for relationships, happy endings are nothing but fairy tales and we all know they're not real, don't we? Megan is a single mother, she has had her heart trampled on, after the love of her life tears apart her family with his drug problem she vows to her little boy that she will never again allow another man come into their lives and cause any more heartache, but can these two really hide themselves from love forever?
The dynamics of all the characters is the favourite aspect. They are all so layered and flawed, Luc doesn't know what's good for him, Megan is scared and too lost in protecting her son from hurt that she is stopping love getting in. The book really is one of my favorite books of the year. I cried, i laughed and I fell in love with that french accent and rock hard abs of the gorgeous Luc. The main characters aren't the only characters that I enjoyed thoroughly, the supporting characters are fabulous Megan's best friend the uber stylish art director Harper was amazing and I am so looking forward to the third novel in the full hearst series, Breaking Clear when she gets her own story. eeek April 2015 guys make note!
