Things don’t always run smoothly in the game of love…
As her Christmas wedding approaches, a trip back to snowy England for her ex’s engagement party makes her wonder if those are wedding bells she’s hearing in her mind, or warning bells. She longs for the excitement of her old London life – the glamour, the regular pedicures. Can she really give that all up to be…a fishwife?
There’s nothing for it but to throw herself into bringing a little Christmas magic to the struggling village in the form of a Christmas fair. Somewhere in amidst the sparkly bauble cakes and stollen scones, she’s sure she’ll come to the right decision about where she belongs…hopefully in time for the wedding…
Perfect for fans of Lindsey Kelk and Debbie Johnson. Don’t miss the Christmas Wedding of the year

What could be better than a big wedding at Christmas in the gorgeous Greek Island of Kos? Well let me tell you not much! Samantha Tonge's latest release follows Pippa and Niko as they embark on the wedding journey. Pippa and Niko first came to us lucky folk earlier in the year in Samantha's Game Of Scones you can read my review for that five star read HERE but for now lets discuss this book.
I was so excited to be heading back to Taxos and seeing how everyone was getting on, revising characters sometimes just doesn't work, I have read many sequels that just fall flat, but this was such a treat, getting to see how the characters are developing and getting all those warm feelings all over again, was simply perfect!
What I found brave, was the reference to the real life situations that all of Europe are facing, Immigration and economy. all subjects that don't scream warm and fuzzy feelings, it would be much easier to glaze over this. Make the entire book a dream world, but Samantha Tonge stayed true and it worked perfectly! It made it real, it made it believable and that at the end of the day, that is what I find makes an incredible read!
They style of the entire book is so personal, you are drawn in by the way Pippa interacts with you as the reader, I love this style always have you really feel that you are in this story. It means you are more invested in it too.
I loved this book, I enjoyed it so much and I it was such a treat! I would make sure to pick up both books travel with Samantha Tonge to Taxos and fall in love with the setting, the characters and the scones, because nothing beats a good scone!
