I am in love with this series, Nikki Moore is a fantastic writer, if you want to see what I thought of her debut novel Crazy, Undercover Love you can find my review HERE also the first book in the Love London series Skating At Somerset House I reviewed HERE.
Now lets get down to business, New Year At The Ritz is fabulous, why you ask, well lets start with our leading lady, the loveable brokenhearted Frankie is quite happy being single after her relationship to playboy Christian she feels there is nothing wrong being single for over twelve months, so after a drastic haircut and her friends constant nagging she heads home to find a letter that holds a challenge for Frankie. A romantic scavenger hunt that will take her across London, but who is behind this wildly charming gesture. Her ex or the 'Mr Nice Guy' Zack.
Lets talk swoon appeal shall we, Zack is the sweet thoughtful guy, the guy who brings you coffee remembers your birthday and always has a smile on his face when you see him. I liked the balance to the characters, Christian the playboy, stinking rich who could offer Frankie a glamorous lifestyle, and Zack the normal man, the average joe, but is he? Could he be the man to save her from herself?
I loved this story, and even though it stayed with the same theme of #LoveLondon it was so different to Skating At The Somerset House, the characters, were juicy, the setting was divine and the romance was lucious. I found New Year At The Ritz to be a perfectly balanced story, with all the right components to leave you completely satisfied, I can't wait to read more of this series.
Pre Order the next installment now (I have) so why don't you!
5 Stars for New Year At The Ritz
