A world built of words

About The Book
I never planned on going back to Hung Island, Georgia. Ever.
I was a top notch Were agent for the secret paranormal Council and happily living in Chicago where I had everything I needed – a gym membership, season tickets to the Cubs and Dwayne – my gay, Vampyre best friend. Going back now would mean facing the reason I’d left and I’d rather chew my own paw off than deal with Hank.
Hank the Tank Wilson was the six foot three, obnoxious, egotistical, perfect-assed, best-sex-of-my-life, Werewolf who cheated on me and broke my heart. At the time, I did what any rational woman would do. I left in the middle of the night with a suitcase, big plans and enough money for a one-way bus ticket to freedom. I vowed to never return.
But here I am, trying to wrap my head around what has happened to some missing Weres without wrapping my body around Hank. I hope I don’t have to eat my words and my paw.
***This novella originally appeared in the Three Southern Beaches collection released July of 2014. This is an extended version of that story.
About The Author
Robyn writes because the people inside her head won’t leave her alone until she gives them life on paper. Her addictions include shoes (the expensive kind), Coke with extra ice in a Styrofoam cup, and bejewelled reading glasses.
A former professional actress, she now lives in the south with her family and too many animals to count. Writing gives her a chance to have a job where working in her P.J.’s is acceptable
Let me start by saying I LOVE ROBYN PETERMAN! Seriously she is one of those writers who never seizes to amaze me. Her individual style is changeless she is always entertaining and thoroughly insane but that, that is what I love. The wacky characters, the barmy situations which leave you laughing so hard no sound leaves your mouth just tears streaming down your face. I always feel like I have had a full abs workout after reading a book by her.
When I seen that Ready To Were was FREE! Yes people free I snapped it up and I was not disappointed this is a first class comedy! Full of sexy romance love and adventure. The story is about ball busting werewolf who just so happens to be an agent for a secret paranormal council. She is sent back to her home town, where the alpha of her original pack, and her ex is now the sheriff... Oh the DRAMA She is there to investigate the disappearance of female werewolves that have disappeared after going to a model agency! Things are hard work, with an undeniable chemistry, and a heavy heart she must solve to case and not allow herself to fall into the cheating alpha's arms! But not everything is as it seems, lies have been told and secrets have been kept!
What I love about this book is the characters they are so full of life, they practically jump from the page and smack you in the face. Yep pretty powerful, my favourite was Dwayne, the gay vampire, who became best friends with granny and took the cross dressing impersonating world by storm! Hand that man a wig and let him go gaga! Believe me if you are looking for a book to brighten up your evening after a long hard ass day, Ready To Were is for you!
Genius, Brilliant and downright ridiculous. It's perfect!
